We’re super-excited to announce one of our guest speakers for the 2015 Fall Edmonton Woman’s Show – Joshua Morrow from The Young and The Restless, brought to you by Knoxville’s Tavern! Joshua, who plays Nicholas Newman on the series, has portrayed the character for 21 years.
Nick Newman was born onscreen in 1988 as the second child of ‘supercouple’ characters Victor and Nikki Newman. Portrayed by a set of twins and later two child actors for his first six-year period, the writers of the series decided to rapidly age the character to a teenager in the summer of 1994. That June, Joshua Morrow began portraying Nick, and has remained in that role to this day! Morrow regards Nick as a “good dude” with a “fiery” protective personality, which has developed into a more mature persona as the character grew. Nick and Morrow gained a significant amount of crazed fan attention and popularity during the late 1990s, considered a long-time fan favourite by TV Guide. Morrow’s performance has been met with critical acclaim, having garnered him the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series nomination consecutively from 1996 to 2000.
Joshua Morrow first joined us at the Spring Edmonton Woman’s Show back in 2009 – we adored him the first time, and we’re delighted to welcome him back for this year’s Fall Edmonton Woman’s Show!

Morrow plays on the World Poker Tour in the Hollywood Home Games for The V Foundation for Cancer Research. He is also a sports enthusiast who plays on celebrity basketball and softball teams on behalf of various charities. He married his longtime girlfriend, Tobe, in 2001, and the couple has four children.

We will also be holding a private Meet and Greet with Joshua Morrow on Saturday, October 17th after his appearance on stage. The meet and greet includes a coffee or tea, a headshot for Joshua Morrow to sign, general admission to the 2015 Fall Edmonton Woman’s Show, and of course admission to the Meet and Greet to meet Joshua Morrow himself!! There is limited availability for tickets to the meet and greet, so grab yours here! There will be no public meet and greet or autograph signing.
