Join local counsellor, Kim Silverthorn, for mental wellness presentations at the Spring Edmonton Woman’s Show! Kim will be presenting on the topics “Dear Brain – I Need Sleep!” and “Fighting Fair – Making it a Win/Win for Both!”
Kim is a registered Master Practitioner of Clinical Counselling through the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association. She has an Honours B.A. in Sociology and Crime and Deviance from the University of Toronto; and a Diploma of Applied Counselling and Psychology from Kelowna College. She has been providing therapeutic supports for individuals and for families since 1990.
Kim specializes in therapeutic supports for youth, for couples, and for individual adults. She has worked with street gangs, high risk aboriginal youth, parolees after their release from incarceration, and abused youth and their families. Kim’s work with her clients encourages and empowers individuals to be agents of change in their own lives, as well as in the world around them.
