Shirleylee Shields is coming to the 2016 Fall Edmonton Woman’s Show to speak about her autobiography, A World Within a World. Shirleylee grew up in a strict religious sect – a Holdeman Mennonite colony in Manitoba. Eventually, she got out and took them to court for the custody of her children. She is the first woman to have fought the Holdeman Mennonites in court and won. Shirleylee will be telling her story of finding her freedom at the 2016 Fall Edmonton Woman’s Show.
