Come visit Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS) at the Edmonton Woman’s Show and cuddle up to some adorable adoptables! AARCS will be upping the cute factor at the show by bringing some of the animals currently in their care to the Cuddle Corner. Who knows – maybe you’ll meet your newest family member there!
AARCS’ mission is improving the lives of animals by rescuing and providing sanctuary to abandoned, surrendered or abused animals; assisting communities to achieve healthy and respectful relationships with animals; promoting responsible and compassionate guardianship and advocating on behalf of all animals. Rescued animals are placed in the safety of a foster home system while awaiting suitable placement in forever, adoptive homes. They provide veterinary care, food, basic training, love and support for these animals in foster homes as they search for appropriate adoptive homes.
(Please note that there will be NO adoptions off the show floor. You are welcome to start the adoption process with the rescue at the show, but you will not be taking the animal home with you that day. We at the Edmonton Woman’s Show firmly believe in responsible pet ownership; if you’re truly dedicated to adding one of the animals on the show floor to your family, it can certainly wait a couple of days!!)
