The Lurana Shelter Society is a foundation that provides women and children fleeing domestic violence with a first-stage emergency shelter. The Shelter offers a safe, confidential location, immediate crisis intervention, food, clothing, transportation, and child support, and has been operating since 1993. As about 80% of domestic violence situations go unreported, the reality is that these services are very needed.
At this year’s Spring Edmonton Woman’s Show, we are excited to announce that the Lurana Shelter will be holding a Plinko fundraiser! Play for your chance to win exciting prizes, all while supporting an excellent cause. Head over to the Lurana Shelter booth at the Show to participate in this fun charity game!
Additionally, Edmonton Henna Tattoo will be offering henna tattoos in exchange for donations towards the Lurana Shelter Society! Stop by the Customer Service Desk to get yours.
As a long time and proud supporter of the Lurana Shelter Society, the Edmonton Woman’s Show is thrilled to raise funds and awareness for their good cause.
