The Lurana Shelter Society is a foundation that provides women and children fleeing domestic violence with a first-stage emergency shelter. The Shelter has been operating since 1993 and offers a safe and confidential location, immediate crisis intervention, food, clothing, transportation and child support. As about 80% of domestic violence situations go unreported, the reality is that these services are very needed.
As a long time and proud supporter of the Lurana Shelter Society, the Edmonton Woman’s Show is proud to help raise funds and awareness for their good cause.
