ANNOUNCEMENT OCTOBER 12 – Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances Dr. Ronna Jevne will not be at the 2022 Edmonton Woman’s Show. We look forward to hosting her again in the future.
We are thrilled to welcome back Dr. Ronna Jevne this fall at the 2022 Edmonton Woman’s Show! She’s embarked on a new adventure with Prairie Wind Writing Centre, a venture committed to encouraging and facilitating reflective writing as a mental health practice by promoting opportunities to experience and practice therapeutic writing and photography. At PWWC, writing changes lives. This is your chance to come down, meet with Ronna and her partner Hal, and try your hand at some writing – a little “Freeing the Inner Me” as PWWC likes to think of it!
You’ll also hear tidbits on reflective writing from the stage before select presentations – little guided moments to help you tap into your inner writer, and to your inner self!
Dr. Ronna Jevne’s career as a psychologist and professor took her down many avenues, including education, health care, corrections and academia. She stepped back from the mainstream professional life to be with her late husband in the last chapter of his life. She has embraced the new opportunities that life has given her, and in this new chapter she has created Prairie Wind Writing Centre with her present husband, Hal. Together they explore their enthusiasm for what each day brings them with camera and pen in hand, marrying together photographs to words.
